Charger The Blue Power IP65 Charger is the new professional battery charger with built-in bluetooth. The Blue Power IP65 Charger can be used on devices in your workshop and on motor vehicles, such as (classic) cars; motorbikes; boats and camper-vans. Models: 12V 5/7/10/15A, 24V 5/8A

The battery is charged, smartly... to perfect condition The seven-step charging algorithm gets the best out of your battery. The charger gives the battery the power it needs, maintains its health, ensures better performance... and a longer life.

Recovery of deeply-discharged 'dead' batteries Unlike other brands, the Blue Power IP65 Charger will attempt to recharge a deeply-discharged battery by force-feeding it with a low current. Normal charging will then be resumed as soon as there is sufficient voltage across the battery terminals..

Connect the battery with ease The charger comes with both crocodile clips and M8 eyelets - making it easy to connect to the battery. If you wish, you can leave it permanently connected.

Completely encapsulate, waterproof, shock proof and ignition protected: Water, oil or dirt will not damage the Blue Power Charger. The casting made of cast aluminium and the electronics are moulded in resin.

Durable, safe and silent:

  • Low thermal stress on the electronic components.
  • Protection against ingress of dust, water and chemicals.
  • Protection against overheating, the output current will reduce as temperature increases up to 60C, but the charger will not fail.
  • The chargers are totally silent, no cooling fan or any other moving parts.

Ultra high efficiency "green" battery charger: With up to 95% efficiency, these chargers generate up to four times less heat when compared to the industrial standard. And once the battery is fully charged, power consumption reduces to 0.5Watt, some five to ten times better than the industry standard.

Automatic three stage charging: Once the absorption voltage has been reached, the Blue Power charger will switch to the float charge 2 hours after the charge current has reduced to a low break point current (see specifications), or after a 20 hour absorption period. The battery is therefore effectively protected against overcharging and can remain permanently connected to the charger. The charger will automatically reset and start a new charge cycle after interruption of the AC supply or after reduction of the output voltage to 12V resp, 24V due to a DC load.

Storage Mode: Even the lower float charge voltage that follows the absorption period will cause grid corrosion. It is therefore essential to reduce the charge voltage even further when the battery remains connected to the charger during more than 48 hours

Temperature Compensated Charging: The optimal charge voltage of a lead-acid battery varies inversely with temperature.  The BluePower IP65 Charger, measures ambient temperature during the test phase and compensates for temperature during the charge process. The temperature is measured again when the charger is in in low current mode during float or storage.  Special settings for a cold or hot environment are therefore not needed.

Li-ion battery mode: The Blue Power Charger uses a specific charging algorithm for LI-ion (LiFePO4) batteries, with automatic LI-ion under voltage protection reset.
